That's Fast...
Got a call today from the landlord. An exit survey, basically. Then I got a call a couple hours later, telling me that they're showing my apartment tomorrow (er... the 8th).
Guess "cheap and in town" makes an apartment pretty popular. I wonder how fast the guy'll run away when he actually sees the place.

Day x: Not renewing lease; looking for a new place.
Day x + 10: Old place is going quickly.
Maybe picking the new place happened on a Wednesday or a weekend.

Well, that part's not decided yet -- the lease doesn't expire until July 31st. I waled around Friendship/Bloomfield collecting rental phone numbers, but most of them don't open up until 8/1 (where I'm looking for 7/15) and I don't want to bother someone to crash on a sofa for a night or two. Which means that I start checking the classifieds this Sunday.
I hope I like this next apartment; I'm getting really tired of moving every year.
