From an article on Sacagawea:
"Still, for my money, Sacagawea isn't the greatest hero of the Corps of Discovery -- Pierre Cruzatte is. Just before Lewis and his party reunited with Clark's on the return trip .... [Cruzatte] accidentally shot Lewis clean through the right buttock. He's my hero because he got to do what so many of us have only dreamed of: He ripped the boss a new asshole."
