This Apartment Is Cleeean
Before my annual gettogether for New Year's Day, I needed to unleash a carpet cleaner on my apartment. The dog has had a few accidents since she got here, and I figured that might be a little unsightly.
And unlike last summer, I cleaned the hell out of it this time: Moved almost all the furniture out of the living room and dining room, cleaned them, put the furniture back in the morning, repeated the process with the bedroom.
Previously I only moved small stuff and left large furniture in place, this time the only things that stayed were a bedside table, my entertainment center and my desk -- each of which had lots of electronic stuff on them. Couch? Moved. Bed? Moved. Those two in particular were important, because the dog used to hide under them frequently. She doesn't any more, though.
So now it's Sunday at noon(-ish) and I'm doing laundry while waiting for the bedroom floor to dry. I just need to find someplace to stash the clean clothes, sheets, etc., while I wait for it to finish.
Needless to say, if there are still stains there I'm gonna be pissed.
As will the floor, if I think about it.
