Good Thing It's a Nice Day
It's been a while since I did something stupid, so I guess I was due. So now I'm sitting here on my back porch tapping this into my phone, because I forgot to grab my keys when I locked the door.
Despite four years in a public high school I have no idea how to break into a house without causing expensive damage. Locksmith should be here to relieve me of my money in about half an hour.
The part that ticks me off is, I was happy about having some extra money around, since I'd just taken a bunch of coins to the bank. The lesson apparently is: Don't be happy, or bad things will happen to you.
Edit, a couple hours later: The guy had to come in from Alexandria, and had to pass an accident of some kind on 66. It had juuust started to rain when he showed up. But I'm back inside and a hundred-some dollars lighter. So next week when I buy a grill (I'll hafta ask the boss if I can borrow his pickup) I think I'll pick up one of those lockboxes you mount to the wall so I can't do that again.
